Bathroom Remodeling Check List

Bathroom remodeling is the best way, after kitchen remodeling, to increase the sales value of your home. It can be a small bathroom remodel or a large one, but either one done correctly can garner a higher price when you sell your home. Even if you do not plan to sell in the near future, a bathroom remodel can make life easier and more enjoyable for your family.

A bathroom remodeling check list is not a necessity, but it comes close to being that. Before you launch your project, a bathroom remodeling check list can help you gather your ideas in one place. It can assist as you estimate time, cost, and effort involved. As you work, your check list will help you move smoothly from one task to another.

Your contractor may or may not use a bathroom remodeling check list. If you have one, however, you can ask that it be used. It will keep costs in line with the budget. It will be your game plan. It may also get you back into your bathroom sooner.

The bathroom remodeling check list we offer here may be different from others, but it can be adapted to meet your needs. You may want two lists, actually. Make one a list of necessities, and the second a list of optional things you would like in your bathroom remodel if possible.

Bathroom Check List


1. Design: Before you begin a bathroom remodel, take time to design the finished room. There are a number of helpful digital design software programs you can use if you are doing it yourself. You may want the popular Tuscany theme or a vintage design. If you hire a professional designer, work with her on this step before moving ahead. Look at samples and pictures of tiles, paint, fixtures, and other materials.

2. Permits: With your design completed, you know what you plan to do in your bathroom remodel. You need to get permits from your city or county. If you are using the services of contractors, be sure all permits are in order before work is started.

3. Walls: Will your bathroom remodeling project involve moving walls or refinishing them? If walls are to be moved, this may be the first step. You may want to add a new window, or move a door as part of your bathroom remodel. Plan carefully.

4. Floors: Most bathroom remodeling projects include some type of floor work. If tub, toilet, shower, or sink are to be moved, you will need plumbing changes. New holes will be made in your floor. You may need new sub floors. This step will probably follow the movement of walls.

5. Plumbing: This part of bathroom remodeling calls for a licensed professional. If you are not a licensed plumber, be sure you have one scheduled at the right time.

6. Electrical: Much bathroom remodeling involves changes in lighting fixtures. Changing a light bulb is simple. Adding lighting to a new part of the bathroom is not. As above, if you are not a licensed professional, schedule an electrician for this part of your bathroom remodel.

7. Decorating: Once walls and floors are done; plumbing and electricity are installed or re-routed, fixtures and other parts of your bathroom remodeling project reach fruition, it is time to decorate. No bathroom remodel is complete without themed decorating. Leave time to do it right.

Bathroom remodeling check lists are sometimes available from your contractor. A few contractors post detailed lists online. The important thing is to take time to thoroughly plan the bathroom remodeling project from beginning to end. Get an estimate from your contractor, or estimates from two or more contractors. Make sure everything is written down, with cost and time estimates. If you do, your bathroom remodel will be as painless as possible.

* Finally the yams that are actually sweet potatoes with relatively moist texture and orange flesh. The sweet potato blends with herbs, spices and flavorings producing delicious dishes of all types. It is low in sodium and is a good source of fiber and other important vitamins and minerals.

There are 2 types of carbohydrates. Complex carbohydrates and simple carbohydrates.

Carbohydrates are considered simple or complex based upon their chemical structure. So what are complex carbohydrates, or some call them starch?

Complex Carbohydrates

They are simply sugars bonded together to form a chain. Because of it’s complex chain form, your digestive enzymes have to work much harder to access the bonds to break the chain into individual sugars for absorption through the intestines.

Because of that, the digestion of complex carbohydrates takes longer. The slow absorption of sugars provides you with a steady supply of energy and limits the amount of sugar converted into fat and stored!

Usually people consider complex carbohydrates as good carbohydrates.

Complex Carbohydrates

Simple carbohydrates are digested quickly. Many simple carbohydrates contain refined sugars and few essential vitamins and minerals. People usually consider these as bad carbohydrates.

Why bad?

These simple carbohydrates are actually smaller molecules of sugar unlike the long chains in complex carbohydrates.

They are digested quickly because the individual sugars are ready to be absorbed immediately plus digestive enzymes have easy access to the bonds in the paired molecules.

You could say most of the work has been done for the digestive system! Foods like cake, pastry, biscuits, chocolate, etc (you get the idea) contain lots of “empty” calories.

Because our cells usually do not require that amount of energy at that time of eating, the sugar must either be converted to glycogen (sugar storage within cells) or converted to fat.

Your body cells can only store a limited amount of glycogen, so in many common cases, taking too much food that contains simple carbohydrates may contribute to body fat stores.

List Building for Beginners - Step by Step Instructions for List Building

List building is an art. Better off you are at this art more be your probability of making achieving your end goals. Let us see what the steps in building a list are:

Step 1: Decide your niche

Decide which people you want on your list i.e. you want students, professionals or house wives etc. The above decision can be easily taken if we can clearly answer a simple question: Why and for what I am building a list?

Step 2: Create set of emails

It is important that your email should be good but more important having them. Set these emails in your a Weber auto responder. On an average have some 5-10 emails ready with you.

Step 3: Tracking

Tracking your open rates, click through rates and conversion rates are also important. Each will give some inference about the quality of email, for example better open rates may signify that your subject line is good. For tracking it is also necessary to have more than ten mails otherwise the data will not be of much significance.

Step 4: Taking Action and continuous improvement

Once you are done with tracking statistics it is important to work on them and improve on your list building techniques. For example you may want to make emails that your customer wants to read so that you can maintain a long term relationship with the customer.

Above are some basic steps to be taken to build your list, but these are not sufficient you need to continuously improve by introducing newer offers and better techniques to build the list.

Homonym Lists and More Than Homonym Lists

Homonym lists can be found all over the internet. Some of them are quite extensive and are very useful for just viewing and perhaps memorizing homonyms. If you were to review these lists on a regular basis, you would no doubt retain enough to help you make the right homonym choices when you sit down to write.

In addition to just simple lists of homonyms, there are some homonym programs that are quite unique in what they can do. Some of these specialized homonym programs are no doubt the response to what writers, editors, students, and perhaps even you, have noted as a short-coming of all the word processors on the market today: None of them can tell you when you use the wrong homonym because if the homonym is spelled correctly, that is all that matters to our spell checkers. Spell checkers have no concept of context.

A homonym list by itself does not see the document you are creating unless the list is embedded into the word processor you are using. Even then it would need to be configured in such a way that it would alert you to any improperly used homonym in your document based on the context. A simple homonym list is not programmed to do this, but is created for a different purpose.

If you are a writer, teacher, student, or editor, you will be happy to know that there are some forward thinking companies that are addressing this problem and those entrepreneurs that are far ahead of the pack have even developed an add-in for Microsoft Word that identifies improperly used homonyms and automates a process to correct them in real time right in your document.

Homonym lists have certainly served a purpose. Homonym programs that can be embedded into your word processor serve a purpose quite different from that of a homonym list. You can benefit from both. If you take the time to Google homonyms, homonym add-in, or homonym checker, you will see the many choices that are available to you.

Whatever your choice, if producing error free documents is important to you in your field, it is good to know that the homonym lists and the homonym add-ins are making homonym errors in our documents a thing of the past.

List Building - 7 Ways to Grow a Kick-Butt List

If you’re been list building a while, you may not be getting many subscribers every day, if you keep up the same old tactics. Here are some new ideas for you:

* Whenever you send out a message to your list, put a short paragraph at the end that asks them to pass the newsletter along to a friend. Or, tell your friends that they can subscribe, and give them the email address to your autoresponder.

* Use list building boxes on all your sites and blogs, at the very top of the page. Then, no one will miss them. When people read your blog and like it, they’ll subscribe to your list.

Say, “I’ll put one message about your product or service into my autresponder series, if you put one message about my product or service into yours.” That way, you’re promote each other’s stuff forever, and as you get better at list building and as your partner’s business grows, so will both of your lists.

* Find a good co-registration program, like List Hero, where your offering is listed with others and people can subscribe to a number of lists at once. These can bring very quick results.

* Have you ever been in direct sales and heard the term ABC, for Always Be Closing? In the Internet Marketing world, you might see, ABT, or Always Be Testing. But here’s what I think before anything else: ABL, Always Be List Building. If you want to succeed online, it’s really all about the list.
